Notes for Educators:
HanuKat and the MatZebra Maze is a secular holiday story that provides you with an opportunity to introduce holidays concepts to your students.  You may wish to point out (or ask your students to identify) the following Passover-related story highlights:

• The focus of the story is FREEDOM, an important Passover concept.
• MatZebra wishes to pass on his new found knowledge to children just as part of the Seder dinner tradition is to pass on cultural history and knowledge.
• The final image of MatZebra surrounded by children evokes the imagery of a Seder plate.
• On a humorous note, the MatZebra is called "Bitter Herb", one of the 6 elements traditionally found on a Seder plate.
